Zinc oxide cannot be used during radiation therapy. Other warnings/precautions:

If the symptom being treated does not subside, worsens, does not improve within 7 days or if redness, irritation, swelling, pain, bleeding, or other symptoms develop or increase, discontinue use and consult a health care provider.
